National Museum Night Festival

For 2 weeks, National Museum has organised 2 night weekend activities ranging from art shows to drum performance. I had missed the 1st weekend event and has decided to summon my photoshooting kakis for a durian and National Museum visit.

Our museum outing started with dinner at the Albert Complex (I think so) with very nice vegetatian noodles (thanks JS for the treat), we subsequently headed to the Bugis durian stall for the "Mao Shan Wang" which was selling @ $8/kg but by then, we were already very full and could barely finish the 2 "Mao Shan Wang" durian which we have bought.

Nevertheless, without delaying much time, we headed to the National Museum.

Before the national Museum is lighted up, the crowd was treated with a screening of "Hairspray". Nice atmosphere as everyone seems to enjoy themselves with the food and sitting on the dry floor watching the show.

Once the show has ended, we were asked to do a count down :(10, 9, 8......2, 1) and bingo..... the light show has begun and has transformed the museum into a art piece!

Personally thought this event is a success to attract visitors to the Museum as I can't event remember when is the last time I have been to this place! Though there are nothing to shout about on the artefacts in the museum, this experience has been enriching and interesting for me.

Time flies .... without knowingly, it is pass mid-night and we have decided to head home....
