CHINESE LUNAR NEW YEAR

It has been a tiring Chinese Lunar New Year...... but yet fulfilling.

We had our traditional visit to our grand parents, parents and relatives during the 1st day and have invited my brother-in-law and close buddy, Ricky's family (+ my god-son) to my place on the 2nd Day.

Think I will lie low for the next few days but I am sure looking forward to this Saturday's visit to Ricky's place and have a good meal there together with them.
(Ricky, if u r reading this, please prepare something nice ok)

What does "FAMILY" mean to YOU?

I have just had an interesting discussion with my colleague and have enclosed some interesting liners for you:

• Before we have a family, we should understand what and why we want to tie the knots
• Marriage is about fusion of lives, values, sharing platforms and this will lead to creation on new lives
• Marriage is NOT as superficial as courtship, consummation of kids
• To have a happy family, we should find the right balance between family time against career success; It is possible to have both but at the same time challenging and easily broken. Hence delicate care and focus must be there at all times...
• Money + Family Cohesiveness = Happiness
• To bring up a family, we must have a good set of values and the kids must be brought up with the same set of values; educate them and not by force.

To go off on a lighter note:

Grandmother is not feeling well and have to rush to visit her yesterday mid-night....

On top of this, Belinda is also having her stomach flu and this is really tiring having little sleep.....

Hope they get well soon, else I will pengz-san soon....
